Kia Soul on sale today! Lease deals, Selection and amazing service

The Soul Has Soul. How does it
look?
- Starting with a reminiscent shape of the original model, the new Kia Soul is now stylized by a more mature look. The result is a vehicle that is full of it. Full of what, you ask? Why Soul, of course. All trim levels are the same, but the LX includes 16-inch steel wheels while all other models step it up a bit with 16-to-18 inch aluminum alloy wheels.
- Those wishing for just a bit more can
take advantage of two additional models. The Soul X-Line features SUV-styled
cladding and 18-inch alloy wheels. For those who want a sportier side to their
Soul, the GT-Line is for you. Its red accents, body fascias and specific sport
wheels help set it apart with a sportier
appearance.

Its what's inside the Soul that
counts
- Despite the smallish outside appearance of the Soul, it is surprisingly large inside. Regardless of which model you select and where you sit, you'll find plenty of head and knee room in the interior, along with a plethora of podiatric placements under the front seats. The further up you fly in trim level, the better the material becomes. In other words, hard touchpoints give way to softer ones on the more luxed-out upscale models.
- The cargo area behind the rear seats is configured
to carry 24.2 cubic feet. Fold them forward, and that space more than doubles,
and offers the use of a two-position floorboard that can be placed low for
maximum cargo space or raised so that it provides a flat load surface for
larger, bulkier items.

What
about the Kia Soul Options?
- A
buyer can equip their Kia Soul with a load of included options in a specific
trim level. Features like LED exterior lighting, 10.25-inch touchscreen with
navigation, extra USB ports, dual-zone automatic climate control and heated
front seats. Other available options include adaptive cruise control,
forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection and our favorite, the
flashing speaker lights. There's nothing like hearing your favorite bass-line
pump out in pulsing lights.
Â

Behind the wheel in the Kia Soul
- Most trim levels of the Kia Soul receive the 2.0-liter
inline four-cylinder engine. It makes a spritely 147 horsepower. While the base
LX model is equipped with a six-speed manual transmission, the others utilize
an automatic transmission for added smoothness and convenience.
- The Soul's higher-than-average ride puts it into
crossover territory, even though it is closer to a subcompact hatchback in size.
This is the new third-generation Soul and, as such, brings with it a practical
dimension, thanks to its roominess, efficiency, low price and excellent
10-year/100,000-mile warranty.
- And all the while, the Soul adds layers of
maturity and modernity, while at the same time, adding to its attractive
character. Now, where is our hamster
suit?

What Is The Kia Soul
The Kia Soul is one of the prime contenders in the subcompact crossover field. It is a four-door, five-passenger SUV with a hatchback rear door. This third-generation Soul is available in several flavors, including naturally-aspirated, Soul Turbo and Soul EV with fully electric power and DC fast-charge capabilities.
The base Soul engine is a 2.0-liter inline-4 that produces 147 horsepower and 132 lb-ft of torque. It's perfect for day-to-day driving, regardless of the task or journey. It is supplied with a 6-speed manual transmission in the base LX, but every model above receives a front-wheel-drive automatic transmission instead.
Next up is the sporty 1.6-liter turbocharged inline-4, which has loads of get-up-and-go thanks to its 201 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque. It provides outstanding acceleration with a fun amount of torque-steer (!) to make you feel alive. The Soul Turbo is equipped with a seven-speed dual-clutch automated transmission that can work as a straight automatic transmission or as a manu-matic transmission that allows you to change gearing as though it were a manual.
Finally, the Kia Soul EV is the electric version of the Soul, powered by a 64-kWh liquid-cooled battery with DC fast-charging capability. This EV uses an electric motor-generator that provides 201 horsepower and 291 lb-ft of torque. It achieves a mile per gallon equivalent (MPGe) rating of 127 city/101 highway. It features a range of 243 miles on a full charge.
