Charging the Kia EV3
A single electric motor powers the front wheels of the new Kia EV3. This is a 201-horsepower electric motor that produces 209 lb-ft of torque. It can be your go-to vehicle for everyday drives and long-distance travel. The car reaches 60 mph in 7.5 seconds. Driving with just one pedal is possible using Kia's iPedal 3.0. Use the accelerator to drive normally, then remove your foot to brake.
A 58.3 or 81.4 kilowatt-hour battery and a leading-edge 400-volt charging setup are available for the EV3. In about 30 minutes, a DC Fast Charger can charge a vehicle's battery from 10% to 80%. The EV3 is also capable of car-to-grid charging, which can power a refrigerator when the power goes out.
